From time to time, we may modify these Terms. Accordingly, please continue to review these Terms whenever accessing or using the Website. If at any time you do not agree or consent to the Terms, you may not use the Website. Please print off and retain the Terms for your records.

Whilst the information contained on this site has been entered in good faith and every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information and hereby expressly disclaims any responsibility for error, mis-interpretation, any loss, disappointment, negligence or damage caused by reliance on the information contained on this site or any failure or alleged failure in the delivery of the services referred to herein, or in the event of the bankruptcy, liquidation or cessation of trade of any company, individual or firm referred to herein. Confirmation of the accuracy of the information should be sought from the establishments or B&B accommodation owners concerned.

2.1) Use of documents and related graphics on this site is for your personal use only and is solely for the purpose of obtaining accommodation information.

2.2) No individual, company, or other organisation may copy information from this website for the purpose of creating a mailing list. There are fees attached to the use of mailing lists supplied by third parties, whether this is with or without their consent. Persons making use of names and addresses from this web site without our prior written consent will become liable for the appropriate fee which is payable within seven days of receipt of our invoice.

2.3) All content published on BedandBreakfastMap.co.uk is the property of BED AND BREAKFAST MAP LIMITED. Any unauthorised use of our images, maps and content may result in legal action. Visitors to the site agree not to modify, reproduce, retransmit, distribute, disseminate, sell, publish, broadcast or circulate any such material without the written permission of us.

2.4) All designs and content featured on this Website, including navigational buttons and images, artwork, graphics, photography, text and the like are the copyright of us or our licensors and any use of materials from BedandBreakfastMap.co.uk without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

We do not collect any user data when using the site without prior permission. As such we do not supply anyone with specific data on who has been using the site. Under no circumstances shall email addresses or other personal data be passed from BED AND BREAKFAST MAP LIMITED to third party companies.

4.1) Whilst we endeavour to ensure that this site is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason the site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

4.2) Access to this site may be suspended temporarily without notice. We reserve the right at any time to remove, screen or edit any materials or content on the BedandBreakfastMap.co.uk at our sole discretion without prior notice and without there being any liability on our part. You further accept that such changes may result in your being unable to access BedandBreakfastMap.co.uk or part of it. We may have to suspend the Website from time to time to carry out maintenance and to make upgrades.

4.5) We are not involved in the actual transaction between client and the Bed and Breakfast Owner and the enforcement of any contractual obligations arising out of the completion of a transaction is the responsibility of the client and the Bed and Breakfast Owner (as applicable). We are not obliged to mediate between parties or enforce or execute fulfilment of any contract.

4.6) By accessing any part of this site, you should be deemed to have accepted these Terms in full.

4.7) These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish law.

5) Cookies

This site uses cookies, as do most sites. A cookie is a text file containing information that is deposited on your hard drive. For example a cookie can be used to automatically remember your previous searches. Settings within your browser can be selected to disable cookies, however the BedandBreakfastMap.co.uk site may not function correctly.

6) Content

6.1) Although we make every effort to ensure the details on this Website are correct, please note we give no guarantee as to, and have no liability in relation to, the currency, usefulness or accuracy of any of the content of this Website. There may be occasions when some of the information featured on BedandBreakfastMap.co.uk may contain incomplete or misleading data, typographical errors, or other inaccuracies. Any errors are wholly unintentional and we apologise for any inconvenience which this might cause. Bed and Breakfast owners acknowledge that they are responsible for updating information if it requires changing, by contacting us.

6.2) We reserve the right to remove any content from the site which we deem to be unsuitable or no longer valid.

7) Links

7.1) Certain hypertext links in BedandBreakfastMap.co.uk will lead to websites which are not under our control. When you activate any of these, you will leave our Website. We have no control over the material on any of these linked websites.
7.2) The inclusion of hyperlinks cannot be taken to imply any endorsement or validation by us of the content of the linked website referred to. Hyperlinks can become out-of-date and cease to work or they can direct users to a website page whose contents or use have been changed by its owner. We accept no responsibility or liabilities for any losses or penalties that may be incurred or for the accuracy of hyperlinks to third party websites, or the content of such third party websites.

8) Payment

8.1) We use the Paypal secure encrypted payment server. All online payments are processed are handled by this third party and as such we accept no liability for any payment issues. Non-payment of annual renewal of listing fees within one calendar month of the reminder letter, will result in their listing or their website (if managed by BED AND BREAKFAST MAP LIMITED) being withdrawn.

8.2) Following issue of an invoice, payments are to be made promptly within 14 days. After which a reminder letter will be sent and a charge of 1% per day will be added to the outstanding balance. All clients do not have the right to withhold any retention money or to set off any money they may claim from us against anything they may owe us.

8.3) Payments by cheque are accepted as well as through Paypal. Cash or Postal Orders are not accepted. Bank transfers can only be made by prior arrangement with us, to ensure the payment is received and acted upon punctually.

9) Agreements

9.1) When an agreement has been entered into, whether verbally or by other means, this constitutes entering into a contract. If an invoice has been raised for a proposed service, this becomes payable as per 8.2 of our terms and conditions, and cancellation is not allowed under the terms of the OFT Distance Selling Regulations (exceptions). There is no opportunity to cancel the service once it has commenced and the full amount will remain payable.

9.2) If we are unable to perform our obligations to you (or able to perform them only at unreasonable cost) because of circumstances beyond our control, we may then cancel or suspend any of our obligations to you, without liability. Examples of those circumstances include act of God, accident, explosion, fire, transport delays, strikes and other industrial disputes.

9.3) Nothing in these Terms shall create, or be deemed to create, a partnership, a joint venture, a relationship of principal and agent or a relationship of employer and employee between the parties.
